Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 April 2026
These Terms govern the provision of barbershop website, booking, and retail pickup software and related services offered under the Kersivo name. They are intended for business customers (barbershops) in the UK. They do not constitute legal advice; have them reviewed for your situation.
Parties
Client means the barbershop or business that orders the work. By using the service after we confirm your order or give you access, you agree to these Terms.
What we provide
Depending on the package you choose, services may include:
- a bespoke or brief-led marketing website;
- integrated online booking on your domain;
- an admin panel for team, diary, retail, and reports;
- buy-and-collect retail with checkout through Stripe on your Stripe account;
- ongoing hosting and support where you subscribe to Managed Care.
Feature lists and fees on our pricing page form part of these Terms by reference. Kersivo does not charge commission on bookings or shop sales; card processing fees are charged by Stripe under your agreement with Stripe.
Fees and payment (build)
Build fees are as quoted (for example Essential or PRO totals shown on our site). Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is 50% to start and 50% before go-live. You will have a reasonable opportunity to review before the final payment and request a small round of final tweaks as described in our FAQ.
Managed Care
After the included hosting and admin period for your package (1 month for Essential, 3 months for PRO), ongoing hosting, admin, shop access, security maintenance, and related services are available for £40 per month (Managed Care) unless we agree a different rate in writing.
If Managed Care is not active
If you do not subscribe to Managed Care after your included period, our admin panel and integrated shop are switched off. We typically help you move client bookings to a third-party scheduling flow, for example Booksy or another tool you choose. The built-in shop remains off until Managed Care is active. There is no self-serve way to keep our admin or integrated shop without Managed Care.
Domain name
Domain registration for the first year is included in Essential and PRO; you do not pay us an extra domain fee for that initial registration as part of those packages. If you are not on Managed Care (£40/month), renewal after the first 12 months is your responsibility: you pay the registrar’s renewal fee directly (or through the agreed billing path). We are not liable for loss of a domain if renewal is not completed.
Stripe and retail
Online card payments use your Stripe account. You are responsible for complying with Stripe’s terms, for accurate pricing and product descriptions, and for your own tax and legal obligations as seller. Pickup-only fulfilment and returns policies are set and operated by you unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Your content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of your branding, text, images and other materials you supply. You grant us a licence to use them to deliver the project and run the service. We retain rights in our own templates, code stack and know-how.
Acceptable use
You will not use the service for unlawful activity, to infringe others’ rights, or to transmit malware. You are responsible for the accuracy of opening hours, services, and product information shown to the public.
Availability and support
We aim to keep the service reasonably available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Support response times for general enquiries are described on our website (for example within 24 hours for contact form messages). [TO BE COMPLETED: optional separate SLA for Managed Care clients]
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data, except where such exclusion is not allowed by law. Our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in that period, except for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be limited by law. [TO BE COMPLETED: solicitor review for UK B2B]
Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example outages of major cloud providers, strikes, or natural disasters).

Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. For active clients, material changes may also be communicated by email or through the admin where appropriate.
